Big Brother sees all when you’re in the iconic house – but unfortunately for us, we sometimes get to miss some of the juicy gossip.

Marcus Bentley, the iconic voiceover man of the show, has been ready to update us on the events of the house for the past 20 years… and as a result has seen a thing or two that has never made it to air.

But with Big Brother: Best Shows Ever providing a trip down memory lane for Marcus, we looked back with him about spooky scenes that unfortunately were cut from episodes.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the Geordie commentator admitted that with so much cut out over the years, it was difficult to remember much… except this one time a celebrity spoke about his run in with a ghost.

‘I won’t name any names, but there was a famous man in there and he was part of a famous troop, as it were,’ Marcus explained.

‘I was watching on all the way through the compound, there’s like quad split [screens] for the cameras, and you could turn the sound up and you’d listen sometimes.’

‘He was talking about somebody who was in his ‘group’, shall we say, and this person is also famous, but not in the house,’ he explained.

‘It was fascinating what he was saying about him, and it was about a ghost, he’d seen a ghost with this man, and it was this amazing story, but they couldn’t put it in!’

‘It was about a so-called supernatural event, and it was about somebody who wasn’t in the house, so it couldn’t [be aired],’ he explained.

‘But it was a fascinating story, I thought “wow”… but they couldn’t put it in, because the man was not represented or able to answer.’

Anyone else suddenly very curious about which celeb through the years had a paranormal encounter, and what exactly happened?

Alas, despite us begging for answers, Marcus kept it zipped, only explaining that because the other person involved couldn’t (or wouldn’t) corroborate the claims, the story hit the cutting room floor.

‘There must be 1000 things every single day that they couldn’t put in because people are not there to sort of defend themselves but, you know, that’s the nature of the show,’ Marcus said.

‘Even my contribution would take sort of six hours a day, and sometimes even more so.

‘There would be thousands of things that were dropped, because it’s 24 hour filming and it really boils down to 50 minutes worth of film including the ad breaks.

‘So there’s loads and loads you don’t see.’

What we would give to get hold of that footage!

Big Brother: Best Shows Ever airs weeknights at 9pm on E4.
